Lexington ISD Overview
The Lexington Independent School District, which educates students in a 292 square mile range, consists of three
schools, Lexington Elementary, Lexington Middle School, and Lexington High School. Lexington ISD facilities
include air-conditioned buildings, a lighted football field, a resolite track, lighted tennis courts, both
breakfast and lunch served daily, and community meeting rooms.
The Lexington Community School District is strongly supported by the local community. School events are celebrated
throughout, as well as "Eagle Pride!".
Lexington is located within 100 miles of 8 4-year colleges, and within 65 miles of 3 junior colleges. There are
